It starts early and ends late

Most regional retailers open their campaigns in the first week of November and keep discounting into December. The steepest markdowns usually land in the middle, not on the first day.

Prices move more than once

A product listed at 40% off in week one is often 55% off in week two. If the item is not scarce, waiting a week is usually worth more than rushing.

Bank offers stack

Regional card promotions frequently stack on top of a store coupon. Apply the coupon first, then check whether the card discount still applies at the payment step.
